Nursing and Midwifery Showcase 2020
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Greater Western Sydney Nursing and Midwifery Showcase will now be postponed until later in the year. Please stay tuned for the new dates to be announced soon!
The Showcase will remain in the year of 2020 keeping aligned with the exciting announcement by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that 2020 will be the Year of the Nurse and Midwife.
The Showcase is a joint initiative of South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD), Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD), Australian College Nursing (ACN) and Western Sydney University (WSU) and will include a combination of aspiring and inspirational nursing and midwifery presenters from across the region.
The theme is “2020: Celebrating Nursing and Midwifery in innovation, passion & leadership”. This showcase is being held to celebrate the extraordinary work of nurses and midwives in the greater western Sydney region and the true collaboration of the partners involved.
